A variety of developmental activities and programs are offered to youth
ages 6-12 who are enrolled in the before and after school program and
also in the full-day and summer day camp programs. The age-appropriate
activities (offered by well-trained staff) include games, creative and
dramatic activities, indoor/outdoor developmental programs, special
interest clubs, local and area field trips, and much more! Costs for
the program are established by Department of Defense and based on total
family income. Please call 632-7575 or stop by the Youth Center for
more information.
Youth Sponsorship
Packing up your belongings, saying good-bye to friends, and moving to
a new place (or new country!) can be tough stuff and it can be very
exciting too. Youth Sponsorship is one way to make this whole thing
about moving a bit easier. The goal of the youth sponsorship program
is to help youth make new friends, find other kids the same age with
same interests, and get kids connected with new people and activities.
Take a minute to complete the registration form. The Youth Center staff
will try to hook kids up with someone the same age and with similar
interests as a youth sponsor.
Teen Access Cards Required
All
teens are required to have a Teen Access Card (TAC) or Youth Programs
membership card to use the Youth Center. Parents and teens may register
for membership cards at the Youth Center main office or in the Teen
Center, Building 116, Second Floor.
