Veterinary Treatment Facility (VTF) Please know that registration of Privately Owned Animals (POA) by military members stationed at Aviano AFB must be completed within 30 days of arrival. All animals registered at the base clinic are required to obtain/maintain all puppy/kitten vaccinations, as well as annual adult vaccinations. ALL registered animals MUST have a microchip. Additionally, all canines must receive an annual heartworm test and must be placed on a once a month heartworm preventative. Our office offers all of these services and sells the required products. |

| Please Note: Supporting the Military Working Dogs (MWDs) is the primary mission of the VTF. IAW AR 40-905, veterinary privileges are provided for those individuals enrolled in DEERS. Only the sponsor or spouse may register the pet. All pets must be leashed or kenneled whenever they are in the VTF. For a full list of VTF rules click here. |
