Space Availability
Space-A reservations may be made 30 days in advance
depending on the occupancy rate. If the occupancy is high, then reservations
can be made 3 days in advance. However, at this time, due to the limited
number of rooms we average 98% occupancy. Availability
of rooms is extremely limited.
Late Arrival
For on base quarters you can guarantee your room up
to 5 a.m. the following day after your scheduled arrival date by providing
a valid credit card and account number. All non-guaranteed rooms are
released for Space-A use at 6 p.m. of the arrival date.
Commercial Lodging
There are several reasonably priced
hotels and pensione in the local area. We can assist in making reservations
in Aviano or the surrounding area for Space-A travelers and for official
travelers when there are no quarters available on base.
House Rules
1. Quiet hours should be observed from 2200 to
0700 hours.
2. Respect your roommates' shared quarters.
3. Bicycles and auto parts will not be kept in the rooms.
4. Clothing must be hung in a closet or locker. Please keep desks, nightstands,
and sink tops free of cluttered material. Housekeeping services will
not be provided if personal belongings are left on beds or on the floor.
Housekeepers are not allowed to move your personal belongings.
5. Smoking is not permitted in lodging. A fee of $150.00 will be charged
for the cost of dry-cleaning the draperies, bedspreads, and steam cleaning
carpet for failure to comply with this policy. Mountain View Lodge complies
with the Air Force Standard of 100% non-smoking rooms. Smoking fee is
$150.00.
6. Pets are not allowed in transient quarters. A fee of $150.00 will
be charged for the cost of dry cleaning the draperies, bedspreads and
steam cleaning carpets for failure to comply with this policy. Kennels
are available in the local area.
7. Offensive or prejudicial materials will not be displayed in quarters.
8. Weapons and ammunition are not permitted in quarters.
9. Personnel are authorized to have guests visit their rooms. Guests
will not be given a key to occupant's room and must be accompanied by
their sponsor at all times. You are held responsible for your guest
and for any damages that may incur.
10. Children under the age of 13 must not be left unattended in quarters.
The Child Development Center is available on Aviano AB. The phone number

11. DO NOT remove any Lodging property from the rooms. Charges will
be made for any missing/damaged property.
Fire Safety in Quarters
1. Smoking is not permitted in lodging. A fee will be charged for the
cost of dry-cleaning the draperies, bedspreads, and steam cleaning carpet
for failure to comply with this policy. Mountain View Lodge complies
with the Air Force Standard of 100% non-smoking rooms.
2. It is prohibited to store highly flammable liquids (gasoline, charcoal
lighter, candels, flammable paint, etc.) in your room.
3. You are prohibited from using unauthorized cooking or heating devices
in your room.
4. Don't leave cooking equipment unattended if you are staying in quarters
that have a kitchen.
5. Don't place hot appliances such as irons, coffee pots etc., in lockers
or drawers.
6. Don't overload electrical circuits.
7. Don't leave television, radios or other electrical appliances on.
8. Do follow good housekeeping practices.
9. Report low pressure fire extinguishers to the Front Desk.
10. To report a fire or alarm, call 911 from any base or commercial
phone or from a lodging room phone dial 911. |
