ITT
TOUR CONDITIONS
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
All active/reserve/national guard/retired military, DoD civilians,
their dependents and eligible guests are qualified to sign up
for ITT tours. Dependants under 18 years of age must be accompanied
by parent/legal guardian or a parent approved guardian/escort.
The ITT tour escort is not an acceptable alternative. ITT staff
and contractors will not take any responsibility over minors
on our tours.
DOCUMENTS:
ITT always recommends that you travel with your Tourist Passport.
Any travel to the UK, Ireland and countries outside of the EU
will require a valid US Passport. Customer is responsible for
contacting any foreign embassy to verify ability to travel on
a non-US Tourist Passport. ITT will require a waiver signed
before allowing travel outside of Italy without a valid US tourist
passport. Customer is responsible for having the correct travel
documents with them before tour departure. Failure to present
these documents on the tour date prior to tour departure will
result in the customer not being able to go on the tour and
a complete forfeiture of any refunds.
PAYMENTS:
Payment must be made in US funds in cash,
check or credit card (Visa or Master card only). One day tours
require full payment upon sign up. Overnight tours require at
least a 50% deposit upon sign up. Customers are responsible
for making final payments on DUE DATE recorded on this form.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be fully aware of the departure time and place. Keep your receipt
with you until you are on the bus. If you have any questions
check with the ITT office during business hours before the tour
date. Our itineraries and the bus seating chart are subject
to change without notice. Please reconfirm with the ITT office
at least 2 or 3 days prior to the trip for any updated information.
Have a sufficient supply of the correct currency for the country
you will be traveling in. Have your travel documents current
and with you. All tour information should be read carefully
before booking the tour. Be aware of all details that may apply
to your tour and do not hesitate to ask our staff to clarify
anything you do not understand. ITT also recommends that Active
Duty military apply to their command for leave on overnight
trips. This reduces the chances of having to cancel your trip
last minute because of being called in to work unexpectedly.
Please carefully read our refund policy below for military members
and the fiscal responsibilities expected due to canceling for
reasons relating to military duty.
CANCELLATION/REFUND
POLICY:
All customer initiated cancellations
will accrue an administration penalty fee. There are no exceptions.
This penalty fee is $7.00 for one day tours and $15.00 for overnight
tours and is subtracted from the refund amount that is listed
below. The refund amount is determined by how much advance notice
of cancellation is given to the ITT office. If notification
is received after tour departure and any hotel room/guided tour/tickets/
entrance fees/meals/etc are charged to the ITT office the customer
will be required to pay those fees.
OVERNIGHT TOURS:
You will receive a 100% refund
if your cancellation notification is received by ITT at least
15 business days before the tour date. You will receive a 75%
refund if your cancellation notification is received 10-14 business
days prior to the tour date. You will receive a 50% refund if
the cancellation notification is received 5-9 business days
prior to the tour date. You will receive a 25% refund if your
cancellation notification is received less than 5 business days
before the tour date.
ONE DAY TOURS:
You will receive a 100% refund if your cancellation notification
is received by ITT at least 10 business days prior to the tour
date. You will receive a 50% refund if your cancellation notification
is received 4-9 business days prior to the tour date. You will
receive a 25% refund if your cancellation notification is received
less than 4 business days before the tour date.
NO SHOWS:
No shows on a tour of any type receive no refunds.
If you must miss a tour for any reason, please contact the ITT
office staff immediately, even if it is on the date of tour
departure. Failure to make contact by the end of the day on
the date of tour departure will result in a complete forfeiture
of the refund.
MILITARY DUTY (APPLIES
TO MILITARY MEMBER ONLY):
Requests for refunds due to military duty require a
letter signed by either your Squadron Commander or First Sergeant.
ITT must be notified of cancellation before the end of the day
on the date of tour departure and the letter must be presented
to the ITT office no later than 3 business days after the tour
completion. Failure to do so will result in complete forfeiture
of the refund.
ILLNESS/MEDICAL EMERGENCY:
Requests for refunds due to medical
reasons require a letter from your doctor or the emergency room
staff signed and dated the date of the tour departure or before.
ITT must be notified of cancellation by the date of tour departure
and the letter must be presented to the ITT office no later
than 3 business days after the tour completion. Failure to do
so will result in complete forfeiture of the refund.
CANCELLATION BY ITT OFFICE:
Full refund is guaranteed if the proper documentation
is brought to the ITT office during the period outlined below.
TRANSFERS:
There are NO transfers allowed. There are no exceptions.
REFUND DOCUMENTATION
The ITT office must have proper documentation to process any
type of refund. Except in cases of verifiable emergencies only
the person who signed up and paid for the tour can request a
refund. Payment by credit card will be processed immediately
at the office. You must present your credit card. The ITT staff
will only refund the amount directly on the credit card that
was originally used for the tour signup. Payment by cash or
check will be refunded by direct deposit only. Direct deposit
will take about 7 to 10 business days to process. Refunds must
be retrieved by the end of the month of the trip cancellation,
failure to do so will result in complete forfeiture of the refund
regardless of the reason for cancellation.
