The La Dolce Vita Dining Facility (LDV), with its spacious
120 seat dining area and 27 employees, is the “Home
Cooking” experience for all DoD employees and families
here at Aviano. We provide four daily nutritious meals
with an average headcount of 550 guests per days.
Our facility offers numerous specialty meals to include
Quarterly Birthdays, Deployed Spouses, ESM Appreciation
Days, weekly ethnic meals, as well as celebrating all
national holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas.
New initiatives have been recently implemented such as
POW/MIA dedication table, Quarterly Aviano Top Chef
Competition and a Grab-N-Go Expanded Flight Kitchen.
The La Dolce Vita also plays host to numerous DV visits
throughout the year.
The Buon Appetito Dining Facility (BA) is located in Area 2
and contains a 110 seat dining area and 22 employees. The
Buon Appetito’s main mission is to provide support to ESM
customers, FTAC/ALS classes, SFS, ITAF, and Emergency
personnel in both area 1 and 2. The team provides three daily
nutritious meals with an average headcount of 120 guests per
day. New programs have been initiated such as the Quarterly
Mongolian BBQ and a Deli Bar. The Buon Appetito also plays
host to numerous DV visits throughout the year.
