The Airman Leadership School (ALS)
provides the first of four levels of Enlisted
Professional Military Education to seven
different European military installations.
The 24-hour academic duty-day,
192-hour course is designed to prepare
Senior Airman to be professional, war
fighting Airmen who can supervise and
lead Air Force work teams to support the
employment of air, space, and
cyberspace power.

An average of 315 Airmen attend the
course each year to develop four
attributes critical to Air Force
supervisors: military professional,
combat leader, supervisory
communicator, and supervisor of Airmen.
Graduating students of this course
complete a significant milestone in their
Air Force careers as they make a valuable
transition to front-line supervisor. |
